Land Environmental was contracted to perform a Threatened & Endangered Species Survey and Wetland Delineation on approximately 60 acres of land in Lake County, Florida. Our staff reviewed the approximate property boundaries and aerial images prior to mobilizing to the site. Upon arrival, we determined the property boundaries and began our field survey. Portions of the property that were wooded were inspected in a grid-like fashion on foot. A driving tour was performed in the open, cleared pasture portions of the property. Our staff flagged locations where we observed gopher tortoise burrows. We also flagged the wetland boundary as part of the delineation process.
